I finally found some Megachef oyster sauce! You are so right. It is spectacularly better than any other brand I've tried. Went back and bought bottles to pass out to all my family and friends. We too are big on Asian greens as the Asian markets are pretty great here in Nashville. Often steam/boil any kind of Asian greens with sauteed onion and garlic (or regular southern turnip greens for that matter) and make a soup with added miso and water. I call it miso potlikker. Add buckwheat noodles, hot pepper paste for a terrific lunch. Thank you for all the smart ideas and recipes.

Another WOW! posting reinforcing (again) my somewhat impulsive decision to sign up for Kitchen Sense. Instructive, insightful, and so well crafted. Heading for NC Asian produce asap. - P.S. Given Chinatown's bounty, I'm curious about your unexpected shout-out to Ithaca supplier. Could you elaborate?

Thanks, again. Ah, just because when I'm not on jury duty and in Chinatown every day, my usual source is Ren's Asian Market in Ithaca, where we spend most weekends these days. Half the greens in my fridge right now are from there, half are from downtown. And Ren's is like a piece of Chinatown in Central New York.
